During the month of May, each scheduled an oil change at any one of our VanDevere Service Locations resulted in a donation of $25 to Ukraine Refugee Relief.
During this time VanDevere was able to donate a total of $63,750 to protect those whom are forced to leave their homes and country as the war continues in the Ukraine.

VanDevere: Hi Ken, Congrats on 4 years. Thank you for your service. Thank you for sitting down and
chatting with us today. What is the best thing about your job?
Ken: I enjoy taking care of our customers.
VanDevere: Awesome. What is the best thing about VanDevere?
Ken: The family environment we have here.
VanDevere: It is a nice feeling. What 3 words would you use to describe VanDevere?
Ken: I would say friendly, happy and welcoming.
VanDevere: That is a nice way to describe it. I am sure the customers appreciate that. Enough about
work. What do you like to do when not at work?
Ken: I really enjoy hanging with my wife and kid.
VanDevere: Same! We do, too. What inspires you?
Ken: Making the customers happy inspires me to do better!
VanDevere: Fill in the blank: I once met ______________!
Ken: I once met the commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps.
VanDevere: Wow that is pretty cool. If you could pick one superpower what would it be?
Ken: I would like to be able to read people’s minds.
VanDevere: That’s a good one. What is your favorite travel spots?
Ken: My family and I love to visit Fort Meyers, Florida.
VanDevere: The beach is always a good choice. What is your favorite place to eat in Akron.
Ken: It would have to be Taqueria La Loma Mexican Restaurant.
VanDevere: Mmmmm we love Mexican food. Ok, last question, what is your dream car?
Ken: The Dodge HellCat. I love it!

This month we sit down with Steve Stewart. He has been with VanDevere for 5 years. If you service at our Downtown Akron location, you may have talked to him about your service appointment. Steve is one of our BDC Service reps who calls to remind customers when they need oils changes and other maintenance on their vehicles. Or he takes your call about needing service. Steve: I enjoy working with people.

Steve: The quality of my co-workers. Also, Mike and Jerry V. are the best.

Steve: Stability, integrity and honesty
VanDevere: What do you like to do when not at work?
Steve: I love life theater. My favorite place is the Ohio Light Opera in Wooster.
VanDevere: That sounds like a good time. What inspires you?
Steve: Motivational people in my life.

VanDevere: how cool! How did you meet him?
Steve: It was actually at the Ohio Light Opera. Back before he was the guy we know today, he did Shakespeare for 3 years.

Steve: Invisibility

Steve: Virginia Beach.
