- Our Thrive & Drive program consists of multiple organizations that are simultaneously raising funds for their respective groups. Even though there is one vehicle for the entire raffle, each group will keep ALL of the money you raise. You must disclose to your contestants that 1 vehicle is available for multiple charitable raffles and the by entering into this raffle contestants authorize VanDevere to contact them. Both disclosures are noted on the ticket.
- VanDevere is sponsoring the raffle with a grand prize of a 2-year 10,000 miles per year lease on a___2024 Kia Forte___ or $___2,500___ cash. The drawing for the winner will be held on ____November 14, 2024______. Winner need not be present.
- The only cost to you and your organization is the upfront purchase of your ticket package. This is a minimal cost to help cover printing charges we incur. The pricing is listed below. If you exhaust all of the tickets you initially purchase you can order more. However, no more banners will be given past the maximum of 2.
Silver Level – 100 Tickets & 1 Banner ($35.00)
Gold Level – 250 Tickets & 2 Banners ($50.00)
Platinum Level – 500 Tickets & 2 Banners ($100.00)
- All completed ticket stubs need to be returned to Katie Bender at VanDevere Chevy. It is best to drop off ticket stubs a few times throughout the selling period. A spreadsheet of all ticket buyer’s information must be completed by the organization and turned in with the tickets. All entries must be received by _____November 12, 2024____.
- Entrants may register to win by purchasing a $10 ticket from select community non profits. Entrants will be entered into a drawing. Dealer is not responsible for lost or not received entries.
- Winner must be 18 years of age or older, and be a licensed motor vehicle driver with proof of adequate insurance, and is responsible for all income taxes, vehicle registration, titling fees and documentary service fees at time of signing all documents necessary to effectuate transfer of title to winner. Winner also responsible for mileage fees of 0.20 per mile over total allowed miles, and any excess wear and tear charges. There is a $400 disposition fee at the end of the lease.
- Winner is required to provide all personal information required for credit approval with Kia Motor Financial. If the winner does not qualify for the financing on the lease, they will win the $___2,500___ cash option, in lieu of the lease.
- Winner agrees to execute all documentation necessary to effectuate the lease. Winner will pick up vehicle from___VanDevere Kia – 328 W Market St. Akron, OH 44303____.
- Winner is responsible for returning the vehicle at termination of lease period and agrees to bear responsibility for any lease end liabilities.
- Winner acknowledges that VanDevere, Inc. will have the right to use the winner’s name, likeness and voice in promoting that he/she is the winner, in both print and broadcast. The prize winner must sign a standard release form providing VanDevere, Inc. with their address, telephone number and social security number and they must complete a W-9 tax form.
- Winner expressly releases VanDevere, Inc., their affiliated companies and employees, from any and all claims, demands, damages, and/or liability of any nature whatsoever that winner has or claims to have relating to the herein contest, and without limitation, any and all known or unknown claims for damages or injuries arising out of said contest, whether founded in fact or in law.
- Odds of winning are based on the number of tickets sold. No more than 25,000 tickets will be made.
- Charity will provide the winner with a 1099 to the winner for the full amount of the benefit. If winner opts for the lease, they will receive a 1099 for the full lease amount (including sales tax that was paid on their behalf upfront to the State of Ohio). If the winner chooses the cash, they will receive a 1099 for the full $2,500 cash prize.
- As part of your partnership with VanDevere, you and your organization will be required to hang the banners provided at the location of wherever you’ll be selling the raffle tickets. Also, we ask that you advertise VanDevere on your organization’s mail-outs, website, Facebook, other social media accounts and any other publications you may have. We will provide you with a media package that will have graphics and logos for you to use. Also, if you’re not very “tech savvy”, we can provide help with getting this stuff on your sites or publications. Just ask!
- VanDevere values honesty, integrity and family. We also desire to partner with organizations and groups that have those same values. By applying to participate in the Thrive & Drive program you are attesting that you are a non-profit organization and that the money you raise will go directly to help children and youth in our local community.
- VanDevere, Inc. is the sole judge of all matters pertaining to this contest and reserves the right to change the rules and/or discontinue the contest at any time without notice. All decisions by VanDevere, Inc. are final.
- If you and your organization decide that you would like to participate in this year’s Thrive & Drive program we will send you an application to complete. After application is complete, please bring it to Katie Bender at VanDevere Chevy. We will go over the application and the program. Once approved, you will receive tickets and banners, based on the program level you choose.
