Here we are again, sitting down with one of our team members to learn more about them. We love learning about our team! This month we are talking to Cody Bartlett, a parts counterperson at our Chevrolet Location. Cody has been with the company for 7 years now. We sat down and gave Cody our usual “spotlight” questions and here is what we learned…
VanDevere: Hi Cody, thank you for taking the time to sit with us. We will start off easy… What is the best thing about your job?
Cody: Getting to work with my friends
VDV: Having such a close group of people to work with is great. It is always easier coming to work when you can feel comfortable. What is the best thing about VanDevere?
Cody: all the cookouts and get togethers we have
VDV: AGREED! I believe the other day I saw the parts department cooking burgers and I know about the famous frank Fridays! Always a great time. In three words, how would you best describe VanDevere?
Cody: fun, family, friends
VDV: The three famous words that make VanDevere such a great place to work at. What do you like to do when you are not at work?
Cody: kayaking, shooting, and collecting football cards
VDV: Easy to say that the outdoors and football are your best friends! Those are great hobbies to have. What/who is your biggest inspiration?
Cody: making money!
VDV: That’s good to fund your football card collection! I would love to see them one day. Speaking of amazing things, have you ever met someone famous?
Cody: the 2006 Cleveland Indians team
VDV: That is incredible! Now you need to start collecting baseball cards! Speaking of powerful people, what would your superpower be?
Cody: to be able to make myself invisible
VDV: Great power! What is your favorite travel spot?
Cody: Hocking Hills
VDV: It is truly a must see for every Ohioan for sure. I think it is underrated. Do you have a favorite place to eat?
Cody: Texas Roadhouse
VDV: A classic and a good choice. Nothing is better than their rolls. Lastly, since we are in the car business, what is your dream vehicle?
Cody: Doge Hellcat
