Employee Spotlight: Joe Caspary

Here we are again, sitting down with one of our team members to learn more about them. We love learning about our team! This month we are talking to Joe Caspary, a sales representative at our Chevrolet location. Joe has been with the company for over 7 years now. We sat down and gave Joe our usual “spotlight” questions and here is what we learned!

VanDevere: Hi Joe, thank you for taking the time to sit with us. We will start off easy… What is the best thing about your job?

Joe: Meeting new people and helping them get their desired vehicle

VDV: I agree, our customers are amazing! What are 3 words you would use to describe VanDevere?

Joe: Family, Fun, Interesting

VDV: These are all so very true. Everyday is always something new and interesting. Also, I love that our core values really show through in the family and fun atmosphere. What do you like to do when you are not at work?

Joe: Golf and Grill!

VDV: I have been trying to get into a little golf myself! I cannot wait until it gets a little warmer to really start grilling out too. What inspires you the most?

Joe: People who keep fighting against all the odds!

VDV: What a great answer! It is very true and inspiring. Everyone loves an underdog story. Speaking of inspiring people, fill in the blank, once I met….

Joe: Mike Tyson

VDV: That would be awesome! I hear that he is super intimidating but very nice. He really is like a superhero, which reminds me… if you could pick one superpower, what would it be?

Joe: Flying

VDV: I think that is a great superpower! There is so much you could do and see with a power like that. Especially so you can get to those travel spots quickly and easily. What is your favorite travel spot?

Joe: Hocking Hills

VDV: It is one of the most beautiful and understated areas I think! If anyone has a chance to go, I would also highly recommend it. I also love that it is not too far away. Now, do you have a favorite place to eat?

Joe: Buca Di Beppo is very good!

VDV: I couldn’t agree more. I love Italian and their portions are bountiful to say the least. I will have to go back again soon! Last question, since we are in the car business, what is your dream car?

Joe: 1970 Chevy Chevelle for sure

VDV: Nothing like a classic Chevrolet for a Chevrolet sales representative! Great choice! A big thank you to you, Joe, for taking the time to talk with us today. We appreciate your hard work over the past 7 years of employment with The Vandevere Bunch!
